How We Rate Food
Not Every Bite's a Winner (But it's Still Worth Trying):

Forget snooty five-star ratings: we believe good food comes in all shapes and sizes! The Roller Coaster Kitchen scale celebrates the awesome, the yummy, and the “hey, that was surprisingly good!”. Plus, we’ve got a “needed salt” icon for items that just need that extra sprinkle. 

Just because an item didn’t get five stars, doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth it! This same five star rating system will apply to our reviews of hotels and resorts that we stay at as well, with 5 stars meaning it is a “must try” and a 1 star meaning “avoid this hotel”.
