1. Saucepan

You’ll need a good saucepan or skillet in order to melt your butter on the stove. We recommend the Tasty pan set from Walmart. It is a great set for a reasonable price! Just make sure you don’t use metal utensils in them.

2. Measuring Spoons

Any measuring spoons you have will work just fine! But if you’re in the market for a new set, these magnetic measuring spoons are great! They fit together well, and don’t have any annoying rings to deal with!

3. Silicone Whisk

To ensure you get a well-incorporated sauce and to not scratch your pans, we recommend this silicone whisk set from OYV!

Instructions for Cajun Butter Sauce:

1. Sauté Onions

Start by adding 2 TBS of the butter to a medium saucepan and turn the stove to medium-high heat. Melt the butter, then add your minced onions and cook them until they become translucent

2. Add your Butter

Next, add in the rest of the butter to the pan and reduce heat to medium. Continue stirring until all the butter is melted.

3. Spice it Up

Once all the butter is melted add in the minced garlic, cajun or creole seasoning, paprika, and old bay. Mix until well combined.

4. Simmer & Serve

Increase heat to medium high and simmer the butter sauce for 1-2 minutes so the flavors can combine. Serve with your favorite dishes and enjoy!

This Cajun/Creole Butter Sauce is not just a recipe; it’s an invitation to explore and celebrate the robust flavors of Southern cooking. Whether drizzled over your favorite dishes or served as a dipping sauce, it promises to deliver a taste experience like no other. Enjoy the process and the delicious results!
